Yep. And they definitely won't if you're not buying a package with them.

3 days at Magic Kingdom is silly. At least 1 at Epcot for this age.

I would do Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
A character meal is something they would remember for a long long time. They meet with characters up close, they come and talk to the kids on their table etc.
I would also try to catch one night show which are also… magical.

Then I would not make a really detailed plan. Sometimes it’s nice just to go where the wind takes you. I’ve done very detailed planned out trips and much preferred the ones where we did what we decided in the moment.

The ticket prices are astronomicaly high to just go for a "few characters and kiddie rides" AND the lines will be 90+ min long especially if u dont familarize yourself with app and LL.

I'm not saying you need to be extreme abd hyper plan, but being too wishy washy will back fire especially during peak season.

And your kids are old enough to notice and want to go on the really cool (and most popular) rides. Don't dupe yourself into thinking it'll " just be kiddie rides".

+1
And Disney World really doesn't have "kiddie rides" the way Hershey Park or Busch Garden do.

+1000. Hire a travel agent. We are not here to do your legwork for you.

I disagree. I am a PP and happy to help with Disney questions, because the first time I went to Disney the people on Disboard were very helpful (for free)

Definitely watch a Genie+ “how to” video for each specific park you plan to attend. The week you are going is one of the 4 business weeks of the entire year.
