My kid has a weekly swim lesson and does karate twice a week right after school (done by 5). Some weeks, that’s even too much for him. Yes, I know he’ll never be a D1 athlete, so what? Not everyone wants to be.
Same here, my 7 year old does recreational dance once a week, and just started a Saturday morning gymnastics class. She's never done two days a week of sports like this besides summer swim, she's exhausted and in bed by 7.
