Omigosh, I could have written this. This is why I became so depressed when Covid hit. I lost all my solitude.
And dh retired from the military earlier this year and hasn’t gotten another job yet. He tries to bring me his outrage over rando tweets in the middle of my work day and I just can’t take it anymore!

Both my husband and I work out of home.
We feel like the house is so big that when all three of us ( me dh and ds) are in the house together, we r never in each other s way. We love it!

Maybe five times a year? DH WFH and is always in the house. When he runs errands once a week I have our kids so I’m never alone.

Same here. I’m usually too busy to do anything different from my regular work day. It’s a shame because as an introverted mom to two very extroverted and talkative kids I really enjoy quiet when I get to experience it!

My wife works from home, so almost never. But recently she went to see the kids at college and took the dogs with her.
I love my dogs, but it was nice to have them out of the house too! Just going in and out of the house without them jonesing for a walk or without feeling like you had to rush home to spring them.

I can only think of one time that I’ve had the house all to myself. I imagine it’s been a few more times, but I am envious of all of you who get to enjoy sweet silence, and solitude.

Once a month now that DH is WFh. I WOH so thisnis a weekend when kids are at grandmas and hes off doing something like a conference.

We both work from home - I have the house to myself a couple of times a year when my husband travels for work. (No kids, three cats - I consider it time to myself when it's me and the cats.)

We feel like the house is so big that when all three of us ( me dh and ds) are in the house together, we r never in each other s way. We love it!

I only have a couple of hours to myself each week. Most days I'm working from home while my husband is trying to find a new job so he can work remotely too. We also rented out one of the spare bedrooms to a college student, so there's usually others around. It's hard to find quiet time, especially with a dog around! 🐶

Once a week and all day. Enough time for me and my AP. Go get her, no one can see into my car because the windows are tinted jet black, pull into the garage and shut the door. Works like a charm.

The real day for this is Mother’s Day and it’s infuriating.
