+4, Chihuahua mix from a rescue would be a great choice. Also look into rat terriers. We adopted a rat terrier mix from a rescue and I learned more about the breed, found out the are known velcro dogs. Our guy looks mostly rat terrier with a bit of beagle and a bit of chihuahua mixed in. It is now no surprise to me that rat terriers, beagles and chihuahua mixes show up on the snuggle list. Our 20 lb rat terrier mix will climb into bed and sleep back to back against my husband, with his head on my husband’s pillow. If anyone in the family is stretched on the couch watching tv or napping, our rattie wedges himself against that person as close as possible and falls asleep with a heavy sigh. I’ve never seen anything like it (have owned numerous dogs over the years) and it is ridiculous and adorable.

Get a nice healthy chihuahua mix from a rescue organization. It will likely live around 15 years without any significant health issues so long as you feed it a good wholesome diet. It will cuddle you like crazy the whole time.

Anonymous wrote:Standard poodle. Omg. If you want a dog that follows you to the bathroom and waits outside until you’re done, even in the middle of the night, get one of these. We used to crate our dog at night but gave up with this one. He just missed us too much. Literally lies on top of you all the time.
