The only people I know IRL who get mad about this are anti-vaxxers/covid deniers. Basically people who are still "rebelling" against covid lol. I know many small restaurants who stopped using paper menus as they are costly to update and maintain, but the QR code menu can be updated each morning easily.

We don’t take out our phones for a meal and ask for a menu and have been known to leave if one is not available.
