Just go up further. There will almost always be a corral that requires an official time at the very front. Get right behind that corral and have at it.

Trot connotes easy jog, NOT a walk. I have no problem with joggers, have a problem with walkers. It is not a 5 mile walk!

You can pretty easily get up to near the elite corral at the Alexandria event and comfortably run 5:00-7:00 miles without a lot of traffic. I do it every year.

It’s always a total cluster. If you’ve done any of these turkey trot events you would know that.

I always park at my friends house across from the middle school. Then have a beer with him after I’m done.
