I also did the race and couldn’t believe the number of people strolling down the middle of the street making it almost impossible to run. It was exhausting going around them and I had a hard time staying with my daughter and her friend. I thought they were very rude to walk a 5 mile race without making any effort to stay out of the way just a little bit. I also don’t understand why anyone would want to walk 5 miles. It is too long to walk. Also, it is a trot and a race not a walk. I wish they would ban walking. Who walks a race anyway? Go for a walk after you eat or something. Don’t ruin it for everyone else.
*trot. Not a race.
Who runs a “trot” and thinks it’s an actual race?
Trot connotes easy jog, NOT a walk. I have no problem with joggers, have a problem with walkers. It is not a 5 mile walk!

I'm not doubting you are a good runner, but lord, get over yourself. If you need an ego boost this badly, go ask your mom if you are good looking.
Ready to admit that your wrong? Alexandria lists their elite field https://www.alexandriaturkeytrot.com/
