Everything turned out great except in trying to time everything to bake together my mac and cheese got very crispy. It was passable at dinner, but got thrown out for leftovers.

So the host went from not having enough stuffing to having zero stuffing?

Because giving the whole party RSV is so much more desirable than no stuffing. 🙄

I tried doing mashed potatoes in the slow cooker and they were lumpy and not very good.
Brussels sprouts came out underdone on one side, charred on the outside from the last ditch effort to cook them with the broiler.

We skipped my favorite dish (green bean casserole) because no one else likes it, and I won’t make that mistake again!

At least the store bought cranberry relish from TJ’s was good 😂

Not really a disaster, but I used double the amount of butter in my sweet potato casserole. Which made it loose and ugly. Still edible and the pecan topping was still great.
