He didn't ruin it. That was my point.
It was cancelled after his 6 episodes, so while he was brought on to help the show, he didn't.

I just rewatched the first season of Bloodline. It's so amazing, mainly because of Ben Mendelsohn. But he dies, and then the second season that kid who is his son or whatever shows up. And bam, just like that, a brilliant show becomes pretty much unwatchable. The kid actor was bad, but so was the writing for that character and don't get me started on the distracting cliche costuming choices.

Phoebe's twin in Friends. Granted she was not in a lot of episodes, but I couldn't stand watching when she was on.

Wrong! Amy Farrah Fowler was the best character on the show!
Maybe it was Bialik's epic poor acting then, but I turned off every episode with AFF.
