There are plenty of semi automatic shotguns.

So you can fire a warning shot into the air.
What goes up must come down.
I had a high school classmate who was killed on New Year’s eve by a stray bullet shot into the air.
Lol shooting a shot gun in the air won’t kill anyone
I heard this on a podcast:
If you keep a shotgun in the house for personal protection, you load it so that the first bullet out is bird shot, the second is buck shot.
Bird shot won't kill anyone, its basically small pellets, but will, at least scare the person so that you hopefully don't have to pull the trigger again as buck shot will kill.

This is ridiculous. If you fire a gun at someone you want to kill them. They are there to rape and murder your family.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why do you want a shot gun? Can you quickly reload?

It’s really sad how much crime has exploded around us. We live in an area that’s actually impacted by all of the council’s far leftist policies, unlike the council members themselves. We are starting to get scared how this might start escalating to home breakins or invasions.
How easy is it to own a shotgun in MoCo for home defense? Does this require as much paper work. I am seriously considering it at this point. Maybe I’ll just own rocksalt shells for now though.

Good lord don’t do that!
It's a shotgun -- it's made for firing into the air.
