I’ve gotten a box from Teamania and some of the pastries were just gross. Some of the stuff is leftover for a reason. La Madeline in Crown was really good but they stopped participating. I’ve also gotten Fresh Baguette and it’s mostly bread. Mama Lucia is good.

I still do it once in a while since it’s only a few dollars and it’s fun getting a surprise box.

LA MADELEINE IS BACK ON NOW!

I got Rasa and they made the bowl while I was there. The bowl was small and not worth $18. No bread. Bowl is worth about $10.

Employee was really rude too. Actually like I wouldn’t be getting this deal. He made my bow small. The ratings are decent so not sure why my bowl was so small.

We did the Whole Foods one once. Got 4 different chicken dishes all past due date by at least 3 days. Threw it all out. Bakery places are good. I like that some places cook the food when you arrive, Moby Dick. Not for vegans or vegetarians.

Last week I got a prepared food bag and a bakery bag. It was a great value - about $80 worth of food for $17.

I am trying a prepared foods and bakery bag in Old Town Whole Foods for the first time tonight. I will report back! Window starts at 9 so not too late for a non school/work Friday.

For past weekend, I had tried 2 new vendors, Pleroma Cuisine and Scratch kitchen & bar in Olney, they both equally disappointing. Especially Pleroma cuisine in Laurel, spent 5.99 and drove 17miles to get a tiny little container of Jollof rice. Emailed tgtg and requested refund on both orders

Has anyone done Olivia’s Macarons? Is it worth it? How many do you get for $4?

The time windows are a PITA especially when you’re not exactly sure what you’re getting.

Yeah that would be the kind of thing that might not sell well.
