Christie is very bright, and has decent ideas. Unfortunately he does not seem to be catching fire. Not sure if it is because he has bravely confronted Trump or because of weight discrimination.
I agree with your assessments, although I do think DeSantis is very smart. I'm always impressed when he articulates an idea or policy.
