I use Rubbermaid brilliance (is that the name? I’m pretty sure).

One of the smallest.

But not FOR the dressing alone. Take the 1-2 cup container. Put in 1-3 tbsp dressing. Put your salad on top.

When kid is starting lunch they can shake it a little or toss with their fork. Done.

Nothing gets soggy because it’s underneath—maybe the one piece of lettuce that’s right there gets soggy.

I recommend this brand but they carry a smaller container - it’s under 2 ounces and has a screw on lid. My real breakthrough with packing salad was realizing if I pack the salad dressing container in the salad container, it does not matter if it leaks a little.
