If you don’t ignore it you are still not able to change anything, you just make yourself anxious/depressed, so what’s the point?

Please stop blaming outside countries for what the American political system and media are doing to themselves. Step one is realizing you have a problem.

I’m with you. I feel weird alone in the middle. It seems everyone around me is firmly on one side or the other. I used to be a news junkie but I just can’t anymore.
