There is a word for shrugging someone off as "unhinged" for confronting you and your party over trying to overthrow the government and for trying to take away their right to vote -

Look, I have been spat upon for standing on the sidewalk and asking if anyone wants a Democratic sample ballot. After the Republican candidates lost, he didn't lose it (or he would've made the news).
