I went on Lexapro and my mother died. Thank you for the judgment.
Did lexapro shovel the food in your face?
Wow! My sister also gained weight on lexipro. It's like her choice was have panic attacks 24/7 or take this pill, be calmer and gain 25lbs in 4 months. The weight remained with her long after she stopped the lexipro. Until you've been there, you need hold judgement and listen to what people are telling you. Try to feel some empathy for them and gratitude that you haven't suffered in that way (so far).
I’m on lexapro. Try again. And put the fork down while you’re at it.
Interestingly, I opted to white knuckle it theough anxiety and ended up losing 15 lbs in a month. I could say sonething about you not being able to handle life without pharmceutical assistance, but I won't go there. My anxiety passed, I regained the weight lost and I feel stronger for having survived it on my own.
