I had one rude ES-age kid; I always give out fistfuls of candy, because we don't get many TOTs.

I went to pull out a fistful, and the little goblin aggressively pushed my hand out of the bowl, dug his grubby hand into the bowl, and grabbed a fistful. He dropped several pieces on the ground, spun around with nary a word, and pushed through all the other kids patiently waiting... he almost knocked 3 or 4 other polite and petite little cuties off of the porch as he beat his retreat.

I, of course, gave them all my customary giant fistful, plus, as they had all been assaulted by the little greedy guy, a second fistful, and they all seemed delighted.

All I could think was the little schmuck's hand was much smaller than mine... so he ended up with a much smaller haul than he otherwise would have.

The kid was homeschooled from preschool through 3rd; his mama did him a disservice in that one, or maybe she was sparing the other kids for as long as she could, as his people skills are sorely lacking.

I live in Rockville. All of the kids were polite and cute. Even the older kids who came by. We did get a couple of teenagers. But they had big smiles on their faces when they said trick-or-treat. And they all said thank you

I was trick or treating with my 6 year old while I waited on the sidewalk. After one house, he came back and said he accidentally said Trick or treat” and “thanks” twice to the same homeowner because he was confused. At another house, the motion triggered scary figure kept deploying and he was scared and jumped like 5 times in a row. Homeowner was setting up final decos on the lawn and finally told him to step out of range and ring the doorbell for his wife to get candy lol.

Everyone else was just lovely. They all said "trick or treat" and they also said thank you. None were greedy, but I let them have handfuls.

I had a group of teen girls from one of the international schools who clearly had been drinking. Only half were wearing costumes, they were loud and a bit drunken. Kinda reminded me of American college students, except they were 15.

We had one family come with the parents vaping pot. The smell was awful. Super rude.

She did a complexion inspection.

I only had one rude ToT group: pack of middle school or teen boys grabbed at the bowl when they saw I was giving out full size. I like to let kids pick, but maybe I can’t let bigger groups of teens do that. A smaller group came right after and they were lovely, saying thank you, complimenting my decorations. I think they may have picked up and turned in a bar dropped by the rude group, because I found one propped neatly onto one of my pumpkins this morning.

All the elementary aged kids were lovely, said trick or treat and thank you!

All the kids who came to the door were awesome, even the tweens/teens.
