Just so you know.... One does not have to be a "deep thinker" to see where we are today is not good. Not domestically. Not foreign-policy wise. Nothing about the quality of life today in the US is better than before Biden took office.

I am in VA so I don't know how much my vote will matter BUT between disaster at the border and support of Israel with complete f*** you to American foreign policy, I am done and cannot vote for Biden in good conscience. Frankly, Trump can't be any worse than this. In 2024, the slogan that Trump is bad is not going to be enough for democrats. I never thought I would feel this way but here we are.

Signed - A lifelong democrat.

Then you have forgotten everything about Trump’s first term.

And remember he is currently being charged with multiple state and federal felony charges, including racketeering.

This country truly has the memory of a fruit fly.

Nah, these folks have Oppositional Defiance Disorder. They want to be independent and edgy.

If you disagree with how Biden has handled the Israel crisis, then you'd probably really hate how Trump would've given Bibi carte blanche for a legit genocide and full annexation of Gaza.

We don't really know this, it's an assumption. What we are seeing is reality.

Yes, we do. We also know that Russia-iran-Hamas are in cahoots. Trump was and is in cahoots with Russia. that puts a Trump US in the same axis against, NATO and the EU. Is that what you want?

(also, yes Netanyu was funding Hamas too)

NP. I thought Israel is “in cahoots” with Russia? There’s many many posts on the Israel - Hamas war thread saying that.

It’s absolutely worth it. I was just talking with some friends today about how much better life was 5 or so years ago under Trump. Will we vote for him? No way. But none of us plan to vote for Biden again. One friend even used the term “suicidal” to describe another vote for Biden.

Oh and we’re all in NOVA so yea it matters.

So you’re the worst type of voters. The ones who vote for no one or a third party.

If you seriously think life was better under Trump, you’re insane.

Trump. Lower interest rates, strong economy, energy independence, strong geopolitical position.

Biden-bad inflation, open border, high crime, insane energy policies that enrich Venezuela, Nigeria and Russia, and such a weak international stature that Putin marched right into Ukraine and has pulled out of our nuclear treaties, Hamas, China legit just ignoring us now.

Yeah. I will take trump any day and every day. I actually fear my son will have to go to war because of Biden.

The economy was actually not stronger under Trump than it is right now.
We have inflation because the corporations are overcharging the public and reaping record profits.
Infaltion is better in the US than any other country. We are pumping more oil domestically than ever before and are also growing the percentage of renewable energy than ever before.

But sure, don't let facts cloud your judgement.

The prosecutions of trump have jumped the shark. Any notion that it was a legit prosecution not based on politics and trying to get him off the ballot is gone. Even the ACLU is arguing on his behalf that this is going too far. Very banana republic to use the judicial branch to silence your political opponent. The gag order is bananas. The NY judge mugging happily for the cameras is too much. He was giggling. So undignified and unserious. So no, the fact that he is facing multiple criminal charges doesn’t matter to me AT ALL because they are entirely politically motivated.

Is your position then that no person running for president can be indicted and prosecuted? Or sued in a civil case?

In other words, does running for president grant you broad immunity from the justice system?

Nope. Not my position. But vague gag orders are unconstitutional on anyone. And timing his trial dates to align with primaries. Deeply political. And frankly charging him for classified documents issued when we know Biden and Pence both had documents and probably also Obama. And prosecutions in NY where charges are brought that have never been brought before. Political. So I don’t think he should get off or be able to avoid accountability but the targeted selective prosecutions of him is rather stunning if your paying attention.

The DOJ asked for quick trials. Guess who asked for delays so they time with primaries and the general election?

Seriously?

Trump moved the embassy to Jerusalem and nearly started a war.

Do I seriously need to remind you of everything?

You know.... we heard this repeatedly during Trump's presidency. "He is going to start WW III!!!!!"

But, the truth is.... the world was more at peace than it is right now. No new wars started.

So, your belly aching is just that... belly aching. No truth to what you say.

I don't care. If my kids have to break their back and pay taxes to support millions of Illegals and billions in support to wars we should stay out of, then I will pick the guy who he at least going to do something about #1. Currently, Biden can be charged with abetting genocide, so there is that.

The US is not in any wars right now. The money we are spending is 1/10 of 1% of our budget to enable other people to fight so we don't have to.

Anonymous wrote:Don’t care. Biden has done some good but his failures to protect voting rights and choosing Israel over the interest of the US is just too much. I am done with him. It is not 1985.

What did you want him to do with voting rights? There are hundreds of DOJ and left leaning cases fighting GOP voter suppression and gerrymandeirng. What more do you want him to do within the law?

If you let Trump win, then we get more Trump judges, more DOJ supporting voter suppression and more authoritarianism. How is that better?

And where Israel is concerned, how is Hamas, a russian/Iranian supported terrorist organization, something the US should be allowing to fight a proxy against the Israelis? I mean, I hate Netanyu and Likud as much as the next guy, but Hamas wants to eradicate the world of Jews. that is what Biden is up against.

Unless you too are ok with eradicating the Jews as well, in which case, I can't help you there.

The quality of your response is basically typical vapid lefty talking points. You are a clueless rube. Go ahead and call me maga too! And toss in a few more amazing insults. But do not under any circumstances discuss facts because you don’t know any. Insult and deflect is your only game. Well I am rubber and you are glue…

I can’t help you. No one can help you, and frankly you aren’t worth helping. You think that a couple of documents of (unknown importance) found with Biden and Pence are the same as what was found at Mar a Lago. There is a wealth of information out there regarding the amount and the importance of the info found at Mar a Lago. There is plenty of reporting about how many times he has shared national security secrets with others, including foreign adversaries and members of his country club. You are choosing to be ignorant. Make a better choice, I can’t do it for you.
