I make a cranberry shortbread for cookie swaps and relatives every year. They are pretty simple and delicious, but you mustn’t overtake them.

I’d love a tried and true recipe for lemon ricotta cookies.

The ones I found are hit or miss. The Giada recipe has mixed reviews.

Looking for a real lemony, pillowy cookie with a tart frosting.

Two cookies I love that folks seem to enjoy are snickerdoodles and thumbprint cookies. Both similar to sugar cookies but the cinnamon/jam add a lot. I use all the jams in my fridge (except marmalade because it leaks) for the thumbprints.

Only for lemon Passover cookies. They’re pretty good for a Passover dessert (which comes with constraints on ingredients - no wheat flour - or leavening, ie baking powder or baking soda) but I imagine most people would rather have a more traditional flour-based cookie.
