Same. My used bookstore would serve coffee and pastries in the AM, and soups and sandwiches with thick. fresh, crusty bread for lunch.

In my fantasies I have a yarn and needlepoint shop in cape Charles. But in reality it would never work financially. Not enough tourists . Not year round. Inventory is expensive etc.

It’s also a really nice outdoor plant nursery. And their baked goods are exquisite. It’s really lovely. For those of you familiar with Lewes, it isn’t right downtown but it is walkable from there.

Either a rock shop, an Italian deli/small grocery store that smells of garlic, salami, and large barrels of coffee beans, or a yuppie bakery with soup and sandwiches on good bread with pastries and coffee with unique Christmas ornaments and books and good looking customers.

I love rustic coffee shops that have board games and books and big comfy chairs where I feel welcome to linger. My college town had one (that got shut down when Starbucks came to town) and I can still smell the place in my mind. So cozy.
