The boys who left our school to go to Landon were struggling academically. So I think Landon will work with kids and may be less academically demanding.

I could've written this exactly about our Landon upper school student.

Same. The guys work hard with challenging academics, and alumni I’ve met have all said they were well-prepared for the rigors of college. The music program has been particularly formative for my son, and the center of his tight-knit social group. He loves the new Upper School building, in particular the new Robotics and Computer Science facilities. Landon has challenged him, at times quite a lot. But he has strong mentors who have given him the support to grow into a quietly confident young man.

He and his friends had less than stellar outcomes. One ended up being a musician, knocked up an English girl and then he and his family spent a very hefty amount of money trying to obtain parental rights as non-Brits. Another one ended up being a yoga-meister on the west coast. My ex sells used goods online and is waiting for payday when his folks pass. Another guy became a carpenter. They all smoked a lot of pot while in school.
You'd probably find a similar mix out of Walt Whitman, but without the hefty price tag and the azaleas.

It may shock you to know that things have changed a little since 1970

Not PP but things have only changed a very little bit

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck. A kid can be a douchebag.

Someone like the pp puts this up on social media and school immediately assumes it is true. Then a note goes out to parents before anyone knows anything. Then kids are randomly brought in and a worried kids starts implicating another kid who maybe they don’t like because they feel they need to say something. This is a mess. Happens way too often. Landon kids are so worried about getting in trouble they don’t do anything. Also there are many teachers posted at games to look and see. Again don’t believe the pp post.

Teachers at “Landin” go to away games? It was not in school property. Deny all you want, but I know what I heard and what I saw.

Yes they do. But haters gonna hate I guess. And you get points for pointing out a typo in a forum that has no edits. Congrats.

Well, then the teachers are doing nothing because I know what I heard. I wasn’t the only one to hear it either.

I was at a football game against Landon a few weeks back and talk about toxic masculinity. Our school did not engage, but some of the things I heard coming from their side was disgusting. Homophobic slurs were definitely being peppered in there and the dads couldn't have cared less.

Have you met Kavanaugh, who went to Prep. Gross.

Yes. I have. He is actually very smart and a great dad. Have you actually met him or do you just run with political slander because it’s fun.

Exactly. Having an opinion of someone based on MSNBC is what's gross.

My son had a wonderful experience and even though he is out of college still goes back to visit his teachers and coaches when he comes home.

Friendly? Douchey and entitled? A mix of both?

Friendly, successful, education oriented. (It is located in an extremely safe, clean, and family oriented neighborhood in which very wealthy and successful people live.)
