The email we got said they would send notifications on the following schedule:
2011-2005: Wednesday 11/1
2012-2015 Boys: Thursday 11/2
2012-2015 Girls: Monday 11/6
Pretty disappointing since they told the kids they would hear this week. And these dates for 2011-2005 are roughly two weeks after they gave offers to the ECNL players.

Not really. It was a bait-and-switch with the coaches.
Anonymous wrote:Arguably the most ignorant comment ever posted on DCUM. Pele, Neymar, Messi, Ronaldino, and Iniesta are all on record stating how vital futsal was in their development. Futsal thrives in Brazil & Argentina. And 1 of those 2 countries has been in the WC finals 11 of the last 17 times. It’s almost like futsal works. 🙄

No- not for 2010 at least. They made some 2010s come and tryout with non ECNL kids.
Anonymous wrote:Not talking about non Arlington players vs Arlington players. We are talking about Ecnl players from Arlington trying out separately from non Ecnl players from Arlington. Just because one player is a better soccer player doesn’t mean that they are a better futsal player. All the kids should have tried out together if they wanted to build the best team.

In most older age groups (u13 and above )they held a separate tryouts for the ECNL kids and gave the ecnl kids offers without having them compete against non ecnl players. I guarantee they missed out on someone who is a better futsal player than an ecnl kid but not a better soccer player. IF they were really interested in building a program they would have had everyone compete together and pick the best 10 futsal players.
Definitely disappointing that the ECNL kids tried out separately instead of giving all the players an equal chance to compete.
they don't owe you anything. If your DC was better than the players that they currently have, they would take you. If you're about the same, why would they add you to their top team?
Alexandria did the same thing. Separating their club players from outside players.
