Do you have kids? I can’t even imagine this schedule with a child. Pre-kid, absolutely. But now? No.

I never get 7 days in but aim for it. I work 50+ hours a week and travel a lot. I find classes in cities I travel to

- Have 10 minutes to spare during the day - walk outside, or better yet, up and down stairs.
- Keep hand weights in your classroom. During prep times, go on youtube and find 10 minute workouts that use weights. There are tons.
- When running errands, park as far away as you can, and walk to the store/appt/etc.
- When attending kid events (do they play sports?) use any time before the game starts or during half-time to walk (or better yet, job around the track)
- If you have high schoolers, can't you take 30 minutes in the evening to work out? Even 20? Again - tons of youtube content for short, intense workouts you can do at home. This is what I do on my crazy days when I can't squeeze a workout in at lunch but still want to be active. I have my kids sit in the same room doing their homework so I can help them if they need it.
Anonymous wrote:Please don't weigh in if you are a sahp parent or work part time. I used to work part time and I was able to fit exercise in. Now that I'm full time I'm really struggling. I do not work from home and have no time to fit exercise in on my lunch break, which is very short. I have teens who need me after school.
Please tell me what your workout schedule is and how you fit it all in. Thx!

I then walked the stairs at the office a few times a day (8 flights) and would use my lunch to walk on the WOD (I worked in Reston) I was in the best shape of my life. Now that I wFH my day is unstructured and I hardly exercise. I work better under time constraints.
