First of all no DMV lacrosse parent would ever describe the club as "competitive" but not on a national level. Also, they are a bunch of "teens" who "may" want to play in college but not her DS. Any lacrosse parent would at least give the context of it is a 2028 team a 2029 team, could not be a 2024 team as they would be finishing this fall. 2025's are mostly completed this summer. The parent in this situation would also not just be "asking for advice on what to do" The husband would not approach a coach and have that coach shrug it off. Most of the local coaches dont speak with parents at all ever.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Easy on generalizing about south. I have met more racist from the Boston area than I ever came across in school down in South Georgia.
And I have the exact opposite experience. The deep southerners just hide their racism behind syrupy faux-politeness.
Aren’t meaningless anecdotes grand?

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Report the coach and the players involved. That is the only decent thing to do.
First, this whole story seems bunk or misleading because it may be omitting key details.
Second, for what would the coach be reported? Failure to patrol group text messages to the satisfaction of some woke parents?

Dear Son, Dear Husband, Dear Daughter
Is there a reason for this type of notation? It appears to be commonly used on the lacrosse forums.
It's used on basically every forum on the internet, lacrosse or not. Who knows why, but it's been that way since the dawn of the internet.
Really. I have been around since the dawn of the internet and this is the only place I have ever seen it. Strange
