So you drink warm bottled water instead?

No, we put them in the hotel mini fridge. Obvs.

Is it 2019 again?

Nope. I just checked my local Nova target and it’s $3.49. At the Florida target where we vacationed this summer, it’s $2.99.

Overseas I buy water. In the US, it depends, but I often use the hotel's water.

Did you all know that bathroom faucets are allowed to have more lead in them than kitchen faucets? They assume (incorrectly) that most people don't drink out of their bathroom faucets.

From the tap. This include international travel, unless it is a country where the water is not safe like Mexico.

Bottled water in the US (tap tastes like chlorine and makes me gag) and most of the rest of the world. Tap when in some parts of Europe.

what's wrong with Detroit's water? It's fresh out the Great Lakes!!

Maybe they were thinking of Flint, MI?

We buy bottled. If we have a rental car or there is a pharmacy or grocery store nearby that we can walk to, we stock up there to save money. If we're staying at a nice resort like a Ritz, they often have free bottled water in coolers to grab by the pool/beach and in the room. If a hotel has those water coolers in the lobby, we will refill bottles there sometimes.

Buy a case at a convenience store and keep it in my trunk. If it’s a resort, I’ll leave housekeeping $10 - $20 and ask for some extras.

We don't drink tap water at home - we drink chilled, filtered water from the fridge - so its not enjoyable to drink luke cool tap water from the hotel. I'm the Target pp - we make sure to stop on the way from the airport to our hotel.
