Shout out here to 2 Amys, which has raised prices, pays their servers a wage (no idea what it is), and eliminated the tip line from their receipts. It's a little startling when you first see the prices on the menu, but it all evens out, and is much better for everyone (except the chronic undertippers, for whom there is a special place in hell).

It will all work out. If people no longer want to do those jobs for minimum wage then restaurants will just have to raise their wages and pass the cost on to customers in their prices. So prices go up but tips go down. This is how it works in other countries.
