From the boys side I don’t see that as a problem. Those kids deserve the spots and didn’t underperform either.

Arlington had 2 2010’s and 1 2009.

At 2010 and up I think it would be nearly impossible for a non-ECNL or GA girl to compete. The rigor and intensity of both practices and games will have made the top girls that much better over the years. My U15 DD is struggling with this now, where she wants to start competing at a higher level but I can see the huge gaps caused by less intensity over the last few years. Not sure there is a way to catch up. So I am not surprised that only the national level teams would nominate players.

Wait there were only 20 players in each age group but sounds like most were from just a few clubs? Doesn’t add up.

Bethesda had 6 2010s and one 2009.
