I do both - either in my basement or at the gym. I typically watch the videos on my phone next to my mat and use my AirPods.
As someone else mentioned there’s non- video workout plans in a new Gym tab but I really prefer watching an instructor do the moves and coach me.
It’s hard for me to narrow down my favorites, so much of this is finding a personality you connect with! Do you like someone chatty, or less talk (for example)? I often take classes with Andy Speer because I think he’s all-around their most knowledgeable trainer. He makes bad jokes though. It’s an acquired taste
If you filter the Strength workouts by Difficulty Level>Beginner, you’ll see many classes by Callie Gullickson, she has good cueing for moves.
