It’s so sad that parents do this. Sometimes the kids don’t even know or care. And to lose a coach over this is horrible. The process of hiring a coach is painful. Summer swim is about the team. Somehow that gets lost every year with some teams.
Half the parents understand it is a team sport and you try to win (sometimes at the cost of the individual swimmer). The other half only care are Larla and could care less if the team wins or loses.

MCSL team. Coaches do the lineup. We don't share the top times report because of the aforementioned issues.

So our team shares the ladder - but we were threatened that if people get crazy / mean / competitive about it - that they'll reconsider. So far there have been no issues and my kids have been on the team for years.

Yes, crazy stuff happens but that is the exception and not the rule and certainly no reason not to share seeded meet times for A meets. It is ridiculous NVSL doesn’t require transparency. I’m not talking about the ladder and how you seed the meet, I talking about this culture of hiding meet sheets with seeded times only available to a select few.
