Wow, well I was sexually assaulted by two people I knew. I've never reported either experience and it certainly isn't about me "regretting" a consensual experience. I am sorry for what you went through but I don't understand the point of trying to compare or rank these things. I hate that it happens to anyone.

And that includes incidents of coerced sex, or a powerful man using his power and influence to extract what he wants from someone who doesn't want to give it to him. It's not minimizing for me to empathize with someone like that. My experience is my experience. Yours is yours. Theirs is theirs. We all have more in common than you seem willing to accept, and we'd do a lot better to combat sexual assault as a force if we worked together and supported each other. Do you think incidents like stranger rape are less likely to happen if you diminish and criticize these survivors? The opposite is true. A violent assault by a stranger isn't the only the.only definition of rape. I have never heard a rape survivor play my experience was worse.

I do know many men who have engaged in questionable behavior try to justify their actions by claiming they weren't violent.
