Loudoun is full of Constitutional conservatives with 2A and AR-15 stickers on their cars. Yet it's shocking that some "far-Left" wingnut is "ready to show up with guns"? Look inward.
I know, right? All of the crime in Loudon is being committed by the conservative folks.
And the scumbag Governor just pardoned one of the biggest, most violent criminals in Loudoun yesterday.
So much for rethuglicans being tough on crime and supporting the police.
+1. He's far worse than a rapist or murderer. He was disorderly at a school board meeting, defending his daughter! There is no greater crime.
Actually the Justice Department had people exactly like this man in mind when they issued their terror warning about rightwing parents being a danger to school boards and education officials.
You can try to diminish it with snark and sarcasm, but it doesn’t change the fact that the FBI is so concerned about people like Scott Smith that it considers people like him the number one terrorist threat facing our country. The same people banning books at school board meetings are the same people who will shoot up schools or attack them with truck bombs.
Not so funny now, is it?
Lol people trying to exercise their democratic rights by speaking out at school board meetings are now the “number one terrorist threat facing the country”! We’ve come a long way from Norman Rockwell. Of course the FBI - the Federal political police who tried to get MLK to commit suicide - are the heroes of democracy in this picture!
REALITY CHECK TIME...
They weren't just some bunch of local moms "speaking out at school board meetings" - it included right wing extremists who traveled across the country to descend on school board meetings falsely pretending to be parents, they were doxxing, stalking and harassing school board members, leaving horrific threats to include raping and killing their families and children and burning their homes down.
That is by legal definition in most US jurisdictions, a TERRORISTIC THREAT.
Stop pretending this was just some harmless Norman Rockwell moms and dads legitimately expressing genuine concern. There were serious lines crossed in what happened.

I’m as anti-gun as one could possibly be, and yet I’m fine with him having these guns in this case.
Guns are terrible! Disarm everyone! All guns should be illegal!
Oh…one of ours has a ton of guns? No prob - totes cool - he REALLY REALLY needs them! He is the exception!
Would you expect anything else from them?

Not surprised. These are disgusting people.
Yeah, the “article” really strains to make you think that.
You realize the charges won’t stick, right?
Chapman is a piece of work. Get the idiot out of office.
Why does this guy need all those guns??
He’s an outspoken Black progressive in a super-hostile white redneck county. If anyone need an arsenal of guns, it’s him.
Normally I think anyone who has a gun should be locked away for life, but in his case I’ll make an exception and say I’m totally fine with it.

They didn't have people "like" him in mind.... they had HIM in mind. The NSBA cited the incident in a letter to Biden.
And, the cute little letter requesting designating parents as terrorists failed to indicate that he was there to get answers about why his daughter's rape was covered up.
And, your bolded statement is just Bat$hit crazy.
