It’s sort of interesting whether a kid like Hannah could turn it around …. She had a loving mother for her formative years and neither of her bio parents was a sociopath so I think it’s actually unlikely that she would actually be a sociopath. She’d need a ton of therapy obviously.

This thread got me watching the show, so thanks DCUM. It wasn't clear to me at the end if Hannah stayed loyal to the father or if she was playing along like Jasmine. It seemed to show that she was calling the shots, but genuinely wanted to go back to her "family," until the end of the last episode where she seemingly was happy with Jasmine on the beach and participating in therapy. Maybe she didn't know during the beach scene that Jasmine had killed the father? Either way, it seems like she benefitted too much from the family dynamic to fully overcome it and will end up trying to replicate that dynamic in the future.

It was very subtle. There was a scene where the OT was sitting with Hannah as she was drawing and the OT had her phone up, scrolling through pictures. She put the phone down as soon as the doctor and detective walked in. Then (in the next episode?) we see a tabloid with the headline, "Zombie Girl" and a picture of Hannah drawing at the table, just as she was with the OT. So it was clearly that woman who was taking pictures and selling them. Very disappointing because she was so sweet to Hannah and Jonathan.

Nurse Ruth had to die because she was getting too close to the truth. The question is, how would the villain know that? But he could have put cameras in her apartment anytime after she was abducted, or stalked her prior.

This was another aspect that was ridiculous. The bad guy was able to go into any home he wanted and set up cameras and routers etc without ever being noticed.

But that was his everyday 9-5 job. He was a security installer. People rarely pay attention to these workers and they are in our neighborhoods, in and out of homes all day.

I didn't think it was well written. Most of the situations from an investigation perspective were way off. The dubbing was awful. I watched it and wished I hadn't wasted the time. The way the children were handled by the officials was ridiculous and not realistic at all.

Dubbing is always awful. Subtitles are much better.

I love it. The psychiatric hospital has security camera issues per one of the scenes so that's how Nurse was found out and killed. The glass was a bit on irony - it was from Hannah who is obviously a bit deranged but Hasmine was able to use that to ultimately end the deranged nightmare. It was a great use of using Hannah as well as her revelation she ultimately saved Jasmine because she liked her.

The security guy was a total surprise to me as I kept wondering if Gerd was involved. I really liked the mystery element for all those episodes! I do think the only weak spot was in fact why he chose Lena as his victim in the first place other than her looking like his mom - psychologically I'm not sure how strong that link really was for him to go that nuts. And the whole scar on the hand thing was kind of weird to have to repeat but it was something that kept me wondering if Gerd was involved.
His pills, the dads pills, it made me wonder if there were a link between both given the case suggesting multiple suspects.

I liked this very much. I think that knowing Hannah was not right in the head based on her experiences, wonder if that's how you realize how these kinds of people exist. I liked that continuity aspect to get you thinking. I liked that in the end Jasmine used her desperation to find a way out.
