No way. That name is so overexposed for people who are now in our 40s. I know like five Amandas/Mandys. Your kid would wind up sharing a name with teacher's, other parents, aunts, etc. That's not what a child wants. They'd probably rather share a name with a bunch of peers because at least then the association would be age appropriate.

I actually had considered Alexandria because that’s where my husband and I met. I decided to go with Alexandra instead.

Alexandra it’s my least favorite of the three by a mile. Ava and Aurora are so much more feminine. If you must do Alexandra, then I don’t hate Xandria.

Aurora would be hard for her friends in preschool and elementary school to pronounce though its a nice name.

I like Alexandra ( can be shortened) and Ava - also like the name Amelia.
