Hope we’ll all have happy dancers on Wednesday night/Thursday morning!

Anyone have idea for numbers for PB3 this year and how many children they cut?
Depends on how many kiddos show up for the audition. The PB3s are only in 1 cast each (usually about 6 performances) so they can fit quite a few of them in.
Under 50!
Well 4 Bees plus 4 Mushrooms (or are they back to 6?) times 6 casts makes for 48 slots - so they will probably all get roles
Fingers crossed!!

There was a 1B last year, but she specifically asked them to audition for the part, the group had not been auditioning otherwise.
Typically its a short 2 or 3
Thank you… my I-B asked and was told “no” todaywe know the 1-B who was allowed to audition last year, which is why I thought you could ask. So for anyone else reading, it doesn’t look like they allowed that this year, sadly.
Good luck to everyone!!!!
Good for her for asking though! It really never hurtsKeep encouraging her to speak up, maybe one day she'll be told yes when she might have been overlooked.
True. Thank you... I'll will encourage her. I feel bad like I got her hopes up, but you're right it never hurts to ask when you don't know what they will say. I assume if all goes well she will be level 2 next year and possibly eligible.
Give it time. Its easier overall when a role like little clown is older and more mature. Plenty of time after 1B to give it a shot
And Donna did mention that some changes to choreography were happening to this year's Nutcracker. So maybe that has some impact on why it was fine for a 1B last year vs this year.
