Dp- there’s no shift. We had a compromise that pro choice advocates were willing to live with. Forced birthers blew that up, and now women aren’t interested in a compromise. We want our inalienable rights. More of us are educated now on who needs abortions and why. More of us have had dangerous and scary pregnancies and births. We don’t want a doctor to be compromised in giving us the best care. Abortion is healthcare, and no one wants compromised care.


+1. We want to keep ignorance away from our children and protect their access to whatever reporductive healthcare they decide they need with their doctor. Everyone else needs to stay out of it.

This. The pro-lifers who really piss me off are the ones who get abortions then go right back to their pro-life position. I would put destroying an embryo in this hypocritical category too.

OP here. Yes. Politically conservative, active in the extremely conservative NA Anglican Church, March 4 Life, voted for Trump “for the Supreme Court” and all kids conceived via IVF. And not the “natural cycle” one.
