The current FCPS school board is a DISASTER.
Every one of them must be voted out resoundingly.
They have done immense damage to FCPS, and the damage to our schools extends far beyond the TJ debacle.
Sure. Let’s bring in the book banners, the people opposed to teaching about slavery, and the people who would force teachers to out kids to the people who might be a danger to them.
Um - no one running is proposing any of that. You sound unhinged.

Honest answers:
You get a lot more children of trophy wives at Langley than at McLean.
Great Falls is more for rich people who want land and mansions while McLean is for rich people who want to live near other people.
Langley lost a fair amount of teaching talent and academic talent during their renovation. It’s one of the smaller schools in FCPS now.

Wasn’t it the current school board who banned the books Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, as well as Of Mice and Men? Believe they also banned Dr. Seuss. IIRC, members of the current board want to eventually replace most or all books written by (as they see it) “dead white men.”
