Spent many hours working on my duties in a volunteer position and going above and beyond in order to ensure everyone is happy. It’s super thankless work and honestly should be a paid position given the amount of work it is, but I feel a sense of pride in giving back to the community and putting 100% into my role.

I finished a walk-in closet sort/clean out/organization, including ridiculous hangars. I’m pretty good at periodic purging of things I don’t like or don’t fit, but still slowly built up too much stuff. Produced four large bags of still-nice clothes to donate. (Either fits but not my favorites, or favorites but not going to fit into it again. And even if I did, wouldn’t be my style now or I wouldn’t have a function to wear it to.)

I called BC/BS to ask if they could reissue me two rather substantial checks from May 2022 that got stuffed in a box in the back of my closet during a move. A very nice rep told me they’d be happy to do so and didn’t in any way treat me like I was a careless moron.
Emboldened by that success, I scheduled an appointment with a gastroenterologist about a very uncomfortable reflux situation (or maybe ulcer?) that started a few months ago.

I got a paycheck and managed to not give in to that loud voice at the front of my mind begging me to quit my annoying stressful J-O-B.
