Almost divorced summer
DH did some things that most people would kick him to the curb for, and I almost did, so he has been trying to make up for it while I consider my future.

āWork-life balancedā summer.
Work has been pretty slow (for me and DH) so weāve had a good bit of flexibility. And Iām really happy that this summer we decided to go with a mix of camps (some just half days), part time sitters, taking advantage of our pool membership, and do nothing days with a bit of beach travel mixed in.
Iām really loving all the extra time with the kids at home and not being over scheduled before back to school/rec sports leagues pick back up. And my kids are in that elementary age where theyāre really fun. I really wish I could freeze time.
