I have two daughters that played ECNL and college soccer. Both tore their ACLs. On one daughter’s ECNL team, four players were out at the same time with ACL tears. Both had more teammates with ACL tears during high school than during college, and both had teammates who suffered two (and in two cases, three) tears. They also had teammates with concussions, but those seemed less frequent with far faster return-to-play.
