19 infants? That's a daycare center where they have 60 or 100 kids total. Crazy

I prefer a small group. Kids aren't ready for big schools, for pre k or Kindergarden is fine bit before no. Kids needs more attention and learn how to play, learn with other kids and adults like in a Family Daycare, Family Child Care home

Nannies have vacations, tons of things. Raise every year

Centers are too noisy, too many kids and people and even with cameras they still abuse the kids like yelling. Too many people there

Family Daycares are nice, it's a small group and gets more individual attention and social skills. And no, being social with siblings doesn't count, if it can't play with other kids then there's gonna be many problems in the future

I mean your child needs to be sick. You can't keep your kid forever in a bubble lol

I also couldn't get my head around daycare and then realized that once you have more than one kid, factor in sick days when you'd have to take off work (vs leaving the baby w/ the nanny at home), etc, that a nanny just made a lot more sense. My kids were never sick vs my friends who had their kids in daycare and they constantly had runny noses, coughs, etc.

What happens when the nanny is sick, lol

“Lol?” Do you not understand the difference between when a nanny is too sick to come to work and the amount of time kids have to spend out of daycare because they’re excluded due to mild symptoms or the end of a lingering cold that is no longer contagious, but doesn’t meet the daycare’s health attendance policies?

Nanny’s don’t want to watch your sick kid. And what happens when they catch their cold and have to take off the next week? You have to provide paid sick days off.

Sounds like the problem is you. You have a limited budget so can’t afford higher end daycares where the ratios and care are better. Not all daycares are like you’ve described.
