There are places that could host it, but they would cost money that NVSL doesn't have. Arlington Aquatic would be a great venue, but no one is going to want to pay to rent it.

What is Arlington Aquatic? Are you thinking Long Bridge (AAC) or is there another pool>

We’re colonial league but part of what I like about summer swim is the hodge podge feel of it. I would NOT want them to move inside for either of the final events.

Just wait. Also, are your team areas on black top? That makes a difference.

Are yours??? Good lord. That'll be fun.

Interesting. Our Div 14 team has 15 swims this year I believe. Good for them!

Yes, Rolling Valley has a core group of excellent individual swimmers, but apparently not much depth (hence D14).

That’s fine. Still happy for them.

Do the same for all star relay carnival. No more D1 parents complaining about the host pool if they're the ones fighting to host

Yes. Please make this happen NVSL.

That's a great rule idea, but can you imagine the drama as kids are pressured to scratch so that their pool doesn't have to host the next year.

Doubt this will ever be the case. The D1 parents love it too much. They should absolutely have to host!

I actually love this idea in terms of hosting.

Not a chance you'd get 100+ pools to spend money to pay for someplace like the St James. I don't have the energy to go through the lists completely but I did do a spot check on a few pools via word search in the scratch sheet. Pools like Tuckahoe with 40+ entries, Overlee with 37, Hunt Valley with 24. Compared to pools like Broyhill or Ilda with none, and the many many pools with half a dozen entries (which probably means only 2 or 3 swimmers).
