Your child will cry at drop off. And be fine a few minutes after you leave. Provided you act confident in the adults in the building.

This is so sweet and makes me question my choice to send kiddo to PK3. What did your kid do on the days you worked? private preschool? I know there's one in DC where he could go every other morning...

In 2021, post-covid, my 2yo (Sept birthday) started PK3 after only being home with parents and grandparents. I was really worried it would be too much for him. He walked away from us without a second look and really thrived. We decided to stagger schedules that year and skip aftercare and I think that was the right choice. They'll surprise you!
