That’s a lot of essential oils to “need.”

As a teacher, I hate these lists. You “need” fairy lights, rocking seats, expensive decor, prizes, etc? No, you don’t. Work with the money you get from the district/PTA each year. Expect the kids to behave because it’s the right thing to do, not because they “win” a cheap plastic landfill item made in China. You’re why we get mocked.

Just here to say hi and that I’m a first grade public school teacher. I’m coming back from maternity leave at the end of last and need some new classroom supplies. Anything is greatly appreciated!

Can you clarify - is this for a classroom of children, or more like a teacher's lounge? Bc it looks like it's for adults to relax and prep?

I was going to say the same thing. This "teacher" seems to care more about his/her fellow coworkers than their students.

-I’m also a mom of a teen myself who has a 504 Plan so I know and understand the need for social workers to have places that make students feel safe & at home when with them in school.

Hi all! I will be teaching sixth-grade English (language arts; not ESOL) for the first time starting in the Fall. I anticipate that I will be teaching between 125 - 150 students at the largest middle school in the district.

An astounding 68% of the students are economically disadvantaged, so I plan to provide them with as many basic tools they will need to excel in my class as I can and to make a mini-library in our classroom in an effort to raise their relatively low reading levels compared to other schools.
