Stars is essentially the C team for the two Capital teams. They are all linked together and run by the same people. Pride is more or less on its own island.

Question for parents of Stars high school teams. Are most of the girls looking to play in college? How involved are the directors once the girls are in high school? I heard that Kathy Jenkins’s and Kristin Carr are part of the recruiting team. What does that mean exactly? What kind of assistance do they give? Thanks

Any Intel on WHY the late supplemental tryout for 25s? Did players leave for Pride (Monday tryouts), YJMA (Tuesday tryouts) or Other? & if so, why leaving an established 25 team at this crucial recruiting point for their age?


I was told a couple girls went to Capital Orange and a few decided they didn’t want to try to continue their lax careers beyond HS or even in HS, and thus didn’t want to commit for another season. It’s the same reason spots opened up on Capital. Props to them for recognizing it now.


At this age a lot of girls are realizing there is no college future for them unless they want to play at a school they have never heard of and given the time commitment for lacrosse it is time to move on versus one last year of lacrosse for fun. QQ: Did CLC reach out to Stars for those 25 CLC O girls?


Yes they did one of our friends got the call and moved.

They are looking for about 15 players.


Only a few. They had some of players make Capital this year.

So where did Pride goalie go? The 26 Capital team is mostly Stars or Pride?

Pretty sure they did. Capital definitely gives preference to Stars for everything.
