It’s not a ”quacky” belief; it’s a cult. Would you say the same thing about Jim Jones?

I think they found her, and she told the authorities she isn't being held against her will because 1) she thinks (knows?) the Scientologists would kill her if she didn't, or 2) she's been driven completely mad with torture. Or I suppose those looking into her disappearance could have paid off, threatened, etc. Scientology don't play. So bizarre.

At any rate, I think I would have been creeped out seeing Tom Cruise in person. But it's a moot point, because I wouldn't be at his film.

Yeah, Like Lori Vallow's kids wellfare check. That didn't go too well, either. Sadly all you have to do is say 'they're fine' and the police leave.

I'm not either PP but I agree with them. Its hard to know what Scientology does to its members/leaders (abuse in many forms) and children (neglect re: lack of schooling to make sure they can't leave the cult later bc they are uneducated) and to those that leave its even worse. There are jobs in Scientology dedicated to making their lives a living hell- they are stalked, websites with false info posted about them so they lose their jobs in the real world, their friends and family in Scientology are prohibited to have anything to do with them). I just can't support anyone who gives millions to these people.

He's a prestige actor not a blockbuster actor at this point. Tommy decided to drop his Oscar quest (back in the day) in favor of blockbusters intended to fund Scientology.

He’s never been a character actor. He’s always made fun blockbuster movies, which is what audiences WANT.
