Vote blue no matter who you traitor.

+100 I hate fair weather Dems even more than R’s. At least I can count on R’s to be the enemy. Moderate Dems are wishy washy traitors.

+1000, wish we would get back those real anti civil rights democrats of the 1960s we. good times indeed.

Nevermind. You can’t.

There you go.

Alabama; 2 democrats both Nay
Arkansas; 2 democrats both Nay
Florida; 2 democrats both Nay
Georgia; 2 democrats both Nay
Louisiana; 2 democrats both Nay
Mississippi; 2 democrats both Nay
North Carolina; 2 democrats both Nay
South Carolina; 2 democrats both Nay
Tennessee; 2 democrats both Nay
Virginia; 2 democrats both Nay

Thus, my statment that ‘every senator from the the south, who happened to be democrats, voted against the civil rights act’ stands.

Funny how everyone stopped responding as soon as they got ‘cited’

Weird how that happens after they reveal their complete ignorance.

Yeah she only won by 2 in a very blue wave year (2019). Unlike Fairfax and Arlington, there's not enough hardcore D voters to carry her over. It's gonna be hard to paint Anderson as a Trumper, he literally was defeated in 2003 for not being conservative enough. He's a good candidate despite what some might say.

The Sheriff's office in Loudoun blames her for every one of their screw ups. Our Sheriff is very, very right wing. There have been complaints that he will not promote women. He has, like Dumbkin and Mayores will go after cases that never should be brought.

Is this like the DCUM thread where someone said "Josh Katcher just became Commonwealth’s Attorney in Arlington"?

(Fact check: Josh Katcher did NOT become Commonwealth's Attorney in Arlington.)

Except that VA has open primaries and Republicans were actively encouraging people to vote in this one.

A Democrat signed that into law, and his Republican opponent ran in 1964 to repeal it. Barry Goldwater voted against the Civil Rights Act and Republicans said "let's make this man president"
