Yes! For God's sake, don't go to Florida beaches. You can find nice liberal beaches in Delaware and New Jersey without driving/flying and contributing to pollution. It's really your civic duty to stay away from Florida, and maybe the entire southeast.

There are other factors too but until gun culture is changed in red states there will be more violence and mass shooting.


You are choosing to ignore some very key factors, along with the fact that Mississippi is largely rural.

Many other states have permit-less open carry, including Virginia. (Anyone thinking about not going?) You can buy a handgun and carry it on your belt wherever you go in an open holster, no permit required.

Yeah, but Florida has its own kind of crazy+stupid. There's a reason "Florida man" is a thing.


There is, but it has nothing to do with what you’re implying. It has to do with the state’s laws surrounding the media releasing the names of suspects. Protecting the innocent from publicity means you get a lot of newspaper reports that say “Florida Man” rather than “Wayne, DeShaun, Joey, and Carlos.”
