I'm PP from 20:46. All winter! I don't wear tights or socks, I like the cold, and I only walk from house to car/ car to work building and vice versa.

There was a woman who worked at my company who was always in a skirt or dress, even in winter with bare legs. Always baffled me. You might be her!

My aunt told me not to do that, lol.

She said you eventually let your waist line go that pants “keep you in check”.

I know someone like you. I’ve never seen her in 15 yrs not in a dress or skirt. It’s fine, it works for her, but she’s also doing it to her daughter. I’ve never seen that little girl in anything but a dress or skirt.

No. Too be honest, I’ve never met any woman that has, unless for religious reasons (orthodox Jewish, Duggars, Amish, etc)

I love dresses and skirts and wear them a lot in the summer and late spring. But I find them impractical in the fall and winter. It’s just too cold and no tights do not keep you warm or are comfortable

This is also my conundrum-other than flip flops or Birkenstocks I don’t know what shoes to wear with skirts/dresses .

You’re never too old to mix dresses and sneakers: life is meant to be lived.

I’ve been having fun wearing casual dresses with high top black Chuck Taylor’s.

Can you also wear skirts with low converse? Or is that weird? Pp who lost 149 pounds and I really don’t know how to dress, but I like the look of skirts and converse.

Yes, it's a great look

My mom does and the women in her family do...they all went to all-girls' schools with uniforms all throughout their childhoods.

I wear leggings to work out but riding a bike? Easy. Loop or hike up the skirt depending on how tight it is. I used to bike to work every day in my suit skirt in my 20s when I was living in Tokyo; I found biking in a pencil skirt easier than trousers because it doesn’t get caught on the gear chain.

Playing with kids, walking in the snow? No different than doing it trousers? If the skirt is short and you’re doing gymnastics or something with kids, bike shorts underneath. In the snow, I would expect the hem of my skirt to get wet same as the hem of my trousers — although skirts are more comfortable as their drying since the wet fabric isn’t necessarily clinging to you so that’s nice.

Can’t speak to skiing, never been.

Skirts and dresses are the absolute best on hot summer days.

I do wear pants, too. But I was very happy when I realized I could do skirts in winter with ribbed tights and ankle or knee boots, because I like changing things up.

I never ever wear pants or shorts (maybe leggings in winter). I love dresses. I even have cute workout dresses that I do yard work in. I get that it’s unique and my dd has pointed it out. I just find dresses very easy, comfortable, stylish and fit my body type perfectly. After pregnancy I have trouble wearing pants. The constriction gives me cramps (I’m thin).

I love to chase after my kids on the playground and haven’t ever flashed anyone. I wear little shorts underneath if I’m going to an amusement park and will be riding rides.

I don’t quite get women’s obsession with pants or how they could ever be more comfortable.

I used to wear skirts or dresses every day. I found them more comfortable and pants were hard to find without tailoring because I am short.

However, in recent years, I have been wearing jeans and pants more often. I can now afford good tailoring and admittedly during pandemic I preferred items I could easily throw in the washer without needing dry cleaning. I do wear dresses a lot still but have more variety in my wardrobe.
