Maybe the other posters have incapable, grumpy fathers? This issue would not have come up in my family. My father would have asked my son to change his socks, or called me to say had only one pair! And then he would have took it upon himself to wash and dry the one pair so that his grandkid didn’t have to walk about in dirty socks!![]()
