I 1000% agree (OP here). Before Trump, I rarely talked politics with anyone. People could have various reasons for supporting presidential candidates. Mitt with universal health care in Mass. McCain's experience as military and as a US Senator. I really didn't care and didn't judge because they had different POVs.
