This is quite a true perspective- crowd singing right over it !

I get a cupcake cake from my local grocery store. The cupcakes are frosted together and the top decorated like a regular cake. After the candle blowing, you just separate the cupcakes. So easy and this allows the cake to be personalized.

Well, when the KID becomes old enough and responsible enough, they can cut their own cake.

I think I know what you mean. Yes, there are some things my mom friends and I seem to be the ones to do: ordering kids shoes, doing the birthday party invites, serving as class moms, signing up for camps. I think yes, I have always cut the birthday cake.
(Before you chime in to say your DD always does the camp sign-up, great. But in most every conversation I've had with a mom, they are things moms usually do).
